These last four days have been filled with last minute shopping, packing and projects.
Shopping – Nothing like traveling to Walmart four times, Target three times, Walgreens twice, Best Buy twice, Bed Bath and Beyond and a local camera store all in the course of three days.
Packing – Packing for 16 days is much more difficult than I would have thought. I’m bound to forget something, however Kevin reminds me that we are not vacationing in the Sahara. There will be stores. Novel thought…
Projects – Among other projects, Gertie (our traveling gnome) needed a new leg! Kevin broke her a couple of years ago and lost her leg. A cast was made last night and fingers crossed that works long enough for this trip. We can’t leave home without her.
Oh, and weather watching – Ennis, Ireland doesn’t look like it’s going to be friendly to us on the weather front 🙁 But that is why we bought rain coats!
Only three more days and we are in the air!
