Everything is coming together quite nicely. We are finally in the home stretch for leaving. Today was filled with laundry, cleaning, and packing. We are both packed (I’m more packed than Kevin is, but he is getting there…). Now I just have to do really minor things in the next two days…make an extra key, get my toes painted, call the bank and credit card companies, charge all my batteries (iPod, laptop, camera) etc. I also have to start my malaria medicine.
The cats already know that we are leaving. They are so funny like that. Ginger is acting all lovey, and Lola is sleeping in a different room to get used to our absence (since she usually cannot stand being in a room without people). Hopefully they do not destroy the house while we are gone. This tends to happen while we are out.
Now to just get through the next two 9 1/2 hour days at work, and I am vacation bound!
