-More Subway riding

Our feet have had better days… we have done so much walking, but we are now pros at riding the Subway. Too bad this is our last night in DC, and we have to learn the NY/NJ transit. Regardless, we saw a lot of great sites and had fun running around. We also snuck in a boat tour on the Potomac River which was a nice change of pace.

Funny Story of the Day: I’ve been quite quiet about the one thing that I forgot to pack… my hairbrush. Ever since I couldn’t find it, this song has been running through my head non stop… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtHr7gluh08 (Remember Mom?? P.S. Don’t worry Leah, I have this song for you to play with Noah alllllll the time! It is pretty catchy hahaha) So basically I have gone 2 days now without (using my lovely long fingers to comb my hair both wet and dry…not fun), but we finally found a CVS today to get one. Best part about this… I now have no scissors to get the brush out of the package. So now I am using a brush still in the package. Fail!

We will be traveling to NYC tomorrow — we are trying to figure out our route, since we can’t check into our hotel until 3p. There are a few things in Arlington that we haven’t seen yet, so we are thinking we will check those out — and then figure out what we can see on the way to NY.

And now the most anticipated part of the day… the pictures.

Washington Monument… Such a perfect Day!

Just the President leaving the White House… No Big Deal…

Lincoln Memorial =)
