Did someone say Alpacas?

Early morning to drive to grab our friends at the train station and head to the Welsh border to play with some alpacas. About five weeks ago, the mama alpacas had two babies, so we get to hang out with them too. A couple months ago I found a mom and pop shop that has most a handful of alpacas that seemed like a perfect adventure, and it turned out to be a lovely morning. The owners of Brockmoor Farm were so lovely to meet and spend time with learning about their alpacas — who we learned ended up with alpacas cause she wanted a fun pet. They aren’t looking to breed anymore, as they now have six which is a perfect number for them. After walking the around, we were able to snuggle them and feed them. Then meet their other friends — goats, chickens and turtles! Honestly what a dream farm they have — I can picture that being such a fun retirement plan.

Now off to Cardiff to hit a couple of our favorite shops and grab some Welsh cakes before heading to Caerphilly to check in. Dinner again in Cardiff with our crew and friends gathered so we can catch up. Tomorrow our friends get to see their first Castle and Abbey — we chose some of our Welsh favorites.
