Ennis Oregon Trail: Nebraska to Idaho

Leg 3 – Sidney, Nebraska to Victor, Idaho
Miles: 585
Hours: 11
Things of Interest: Target, Grand Tetons, Starwatching

Second looooong day of driving just to get through Wyoming to our destination of Victor, Idaho.

I honestly don’t know that I have anything exciting to even write about — we fell asleep really early last night, so were up fairly early. With eleven hours of travel ahead of us, that worked in our favor.

So.much.driving. with just rest area stops and a quick subway lunch stop before we made it to Jackson Hole. A quick stop into Target to check for Lego sales (if you know, you know – ps. Sold out already) and then to Albertsons for some groceries for the next couple days. The necessities — peanut butter, jelly, bread and chips — for our hiking/picnic data ahead.

We were exhausted and decided to just have a sandwich for dinner before checking into our Airbnb. I specifically picked this place because of the reviews of the views and stargazing, and boy were they right. The stars were so brilliant, and the milky way was incredible. Thankfully we had one night of stargazing before that was derailed (more on that tomorrow).

Another early bedtime and hopefully sleeping in tomorrow. Though tomorrow is when our trip really begins heading to the National Parks.
