We went to the airport to check in for our flight home, and the guy behind the counter said…”Um we have a little bit of a problem.” Apparently American Airlines changed our itinerary without telling us. I have an itinerary that says we are to fly out today at 3, but their computer says tomorrow at 3. We still don’t know what happened, but the airplane we were supposed to fly out on said that it was ‘not confirmed’. So we are really mystified as to what is going on. Regardless, we are on the flight tomorrow. Hopefully we will have no other issues getting home. I have to get back for work. Kevin doesn’t work until Monday, but I was scheduled to work Friday. Appears that the universe has a different plan for us today. So we have another day here. On one hand we have an ‘extra’ day of vacation, but on the other hand we are just going to hang around the house. We have totally worn out Grandpa, so we won’t be going anywhere else. We planned for meals (and more importantly, drinks) until the 10th, so we now just have to scrounge around for the next day. And the heat is absolutely miserable with this dang sunburn that we have. Every time I step outside, the sun BURNS!

So tomorrow we will try this again…fingers crossed we get to come back to the air conditioning!
