Scotland!

We have arrived in Scotland! The plane from Shannon to Edinburgh was a prop plane which was a completely new experience for us. Very very loud and very small. But we lived! We landed in Edinburgh and drove straight to Ft. William which is where the Jacobite Steam train is. For those who don’t know, this is Hogwarts Express (the train that delivered all of the students to Hogwarts in Harry Potter). Can’t wait to see it cross the viaduct tomorrow =). Roads are MUCH better than Ireland’s. Kevin is feeling much better about driving around here.

We checked into our B&B, and I’m almost famous again. The owner said that he wasn’t sure I was going to be THE ONE, but if I was, then he would surely get his picture taken with me. I really need to start capitalizing on this over here – making reservations under my name, calling ahead to place we will be, etc. It’s pretty fun being almost famous.

Other than that there really isn’t much to report other than the Scottish Highlands are absolutely gorgeous! Pictures say a thousand words, so I’m going to just stop typing and add the pictures.

Just us hanging out in front of our gorgeous B&B. It used to be a rectory and choir school. Stain glass windows, beautiful towers, round pushed out windows… overlooking the loch. We’re a little water logged in this picture.

This is the view from our window. Pretty sure it’s the best view of the place considering I’m practically famous, you know.

A random loch that we came across.

Starting to get really foggy, cloudy, and rainy and I snapped this from the car window when we were driving by. Nice little waterfall.
