First off — if you didn’t notice, I posted the adventures of the last two days with pictures from Cinque Terre.
Today was mostly a travel day for us having to be at the train station by 9:30 to catch our first train and arriving in SWITZERLAND at 7:30pm. One more country crossed off the list! But since it was such a long travel day there isn’t much to report. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant which is across the river from the famous (and beautiful) covered bridge. I had Rosti which is a traditional Swiss meal – basically a bunch of potatoes and onion rings with spinach and an egg on top. Almost every season of The Amazing Race has a leg in Lucerne, Switzerland at this bridge, so it was really cool to be able to sit and look at it during dinner. It’s beautiful during the day but absolutely stunning at night as well.
The weather is showing rain for the next couple of days, so we honestly have no idea what we are going to do. But I’m sure it will involve some mischief as always.
